Parking Services & Transfers

Oval Hotel offers onsite valet car parking and secure self-parking options, as well as our premium Adelaide Airport transfer service. Additional charges apply for all of these services.

Our central location is also easily accessible via public transport. With tram stops and bus stops minutes from our front door as well as Adelaide Railway Station just a short walk over the Torrens Footbridge – simply follow directions to Adelaide Oval.

Oval Hotel entrance

Guests are invited to arrive via the underground carpark from King William Road, or on foot via the eastern plaza on ground level before ascending to our floating reception space on level three.

Transfers

Book our door-to-door airport transfer service to be greeted at Adelaide Airport by our professional chauffeur, who will drive you to Oval Hotel in the comfort and style of a high-class vehicle. Sit back, relax and enjoy free wi-fi, bottled water and mints.

Car Parks

East Car Park
Self and valet parking is available*

Oval Hotel shares the Adelaide Oval East Car Park, operated by Wilson Parking. The driveway entrance is accessible from King William Road. Vehicle height clearance 2.2m.

This car park can be used for valet parking, self-parking*, pickup and drop-offs for all ride-share, taxis and similar.

North Car Park
Self-parking only* 

Oval Hotel shares the Adelaide Oval North Car Park, operated by Wilson Parking. The driveway entrance is accessible from Pennington Terrace.

Please note: North Car Park is an open-air car park.

Parking Services

Hotel valet service

Simply take a ticket on entry and proceed to the Hotel’s designated valet area for assistance. Oval Hotel offers a valet parking service for $49 per night, which allows for unlimited entry and exit.

Please note: On Adelaide Oval event days, hotel guest parking is limited to our valet service only.

Self-parking

For guests choosing self-park, Wilson Parking rates apply. Self-park rates apply to each entry and exit from the car park.

Transfers 

For convenient pick-up and drop-off services, Oval Hotel provides a complimentary 15-minute time slot in the East Car Park. All you need to do is take a ticket when you enter, and there’s no need to pay upon exiting during this timeframe.

Event day parking

Self-parking is unavailable on Adelaide Oval Event Days.

Oval Hotel offers a valet parking service charged at $49 per vehicle, bookings are required directly with the hotel (please contact us here). Valet cars may be parked in an open-air car park for the duration of the event.

Road Closures are common on Adelaide Oval Event Days. Oval Hotel recommends accessing the East Car park via Sir Edwin Smith Ave. Please advise the traffic attendants that you are staying at Oval Hotel.

Please note: at the completion of an event, all roads surrounding Adelaide Oval and Oval Hotel will be closed for pedestrian egress from the event, delays can be up to 20 minutes.

*On Adelaide Oval event days, hotel guest self-parking is not available due to capacity
