Oval Hotel is perfectly positioned in the heart of Adelaide at King William Road, on the Torrens Riverbank.

Guests are invited to arrive via the underground carpark from King William Road, or on foot via the eastern promenade on ground level before ascending to our floating reception space on level three.

Access Information

Oval Hotel is fully accessible by wheelchair, with all rooms, reception lounge and dining accessible via lifts. Please enter either by vehicle at our underground valet or from concourse level for access to lifts, which will take you to the reception area.

Our Parkland Accessible King rooms are specifically designed for limited mobility and wheelchair access with wide doorways, accessible minibar and safe, and a custom-built ensuite bathroom.

These rooms have been updated on advice from Get Skilled Access, ensuring all amenities are accessible by wheelchair.

Local Amenity

Just a short walk over the Torrens footbridge places you in the vibrant Riverbank entertainment precinct, between the Festival Centre complex, Adelaide Casino and Adelaide Convention Centre.

At night, nearby Hindley Street comes alive as people flock to its laneways packed with trendy restaurants and small bars, as well as local pubs and clubs.

Adelaide’s premier retail precinct Rundle Mall is also within minutes’ walk, while further east you will find Rundle Street and its many boutiques, specialty shops and some of Adelaide’s best eateries.

Those wanting to explore Adelaide’s cultural sites need only take a short walk to North Terrace for the Art Gallery of South Australia, South Australian Museum, Adelaide Zoo and Adelaide Botanic Gardens.

Adelaide’s tram network can connect you with a number of experiences just a little further afar, including the beloved Adelaide Central Market, Morphettville Racecourse and the Glenelg foreshore.
