Game Day at Adelaide Oval

Here’s what you need to know for your stay.

Whether you’re attending a major event during your stay at Oval Hotel or not, you’re sure to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that game days bring! As Australia’s first stadium hotel, please note that major events or game days at Adelaide Oval may impact certain aspects of your stay. Our staff will contact you before your arrival should this be the case.

Parking & Road Closures

• Self-parking is unavailable on Adelaide Oval Event Days. Oval Hotel offers a valet parking service charged at $49 per vehicle, bookings are required directly with the hotel. Valet cars may be parked in the Adelaide Oval North car park for the duration of the event. The Adelaide Oval North car park is a grassed, open-air car park.
• Please expect road closures in place surrounding the stadium prior, during and post major events held at Adelaide Oval. We recommend accessing the East Car park via Sir Edwin Smith Ave. Please advise the traffic attendants that you are staying at Oval Hotel.
• Please be aware at the beginning and completion of an event, surrounding Adelaide Oval and Oval Hotel will have an influx of foot-traffic.

Dining

• Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen is inaccessible during major events (from one hour prior to gates open). However, we invite you to join us for a drink or meal after the event, or joining us before depending on the schedule – there’s nothing like that view!
• If you are not attending the game or event and are seeking nearby dining options, our staff are happy to provide recommendations and make a booking.

If you’re staying at the stadium during a game day, why not make the most of the atmosphere? Oval Hotel has a limited number of upgrade packages available during the AFL and BBL seasons.

These packages include tickets for some of the best seats at Adelaide Oval, premium restaurant and bar access, and complimentary valet parking. It’s the best way to enjoy game day at our stadium home. Upgrade your stay by contacting Reception to check availability.
